Sexual Abuse Survivor’s Group: IFS Informed
Group for Female Identified Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse. The format includes group discussions using parts language and guided IFS exercises/meditations that emphasize working with protective, exiled, blended, and polarized parts in a group setting and cultivating increased self-energy.
IFS therapy offers participants the ability to work towards increased self-compassion, reduction of shame, assistance in unburdening parts that have been forced into extreme roles as a survivor strategy, and healing wounded and traumatized parts. Ultimately, the group aims to empower survivors through recovering from childhood sexual abuse by healing the wounds of the past and providing a new experience in the present. Female Identifying CPTSD Survivors Group
This is a long-term process Support Group for women. CPTSD comes in many forms, including emotional, physical, sexual and psychological trauma. The effects on emotion regulation, interpersonal relationships, and self worth will be addressed. This group will allow survivors to share their trauma history and recovery experiences and provide support for their recovery process.
