WORKSHOP: Working with Dissociative Identity Disorder Part 1

DID is very often misdiagnosed, misunderstood, ​and​ not taken seriously. ​Many of these clients ​have been diagnosed as bipolar, borderline, schizophreni​a​, etc when in reality they have a dissociative disorder. ​This presentation will help you understand what DID is and how to assess for it in your clients.

9am-4pm – CEU/Speaker Presentation

*12-1pm Lunch (on your own)

Learning Objectives-  participants will be able to:

1) Describe what is Dissociation

2) Identify at least 2 symptoms of dissociation

3) Identify at least 2 alter systems in DID

4) Identify at least 2 treatment strategies when working with DID

Once the workshop is over, you will need to email the course evaluation in order to receive your CEUs.
