WORKSHOP: Working with Dissociative Identity Disorder Part 1
DID is very often misdiagnosed, misunderstood, and not taken seriously. Many of these clients have been diagnosed as bipolar, borderline, schizophrenia, etc. when in reality they have a dissociative disorder. This presentation will help you understand what DID is and how to assess for it in your clients.
9am-4pm – CEU/Speaker Presentation

Learning Objectives- participants will be able to:
1) Describe what is Dissociation
2) Identify at least 2 symptoms of dissociation
3) Identify at least 2 alter systems in DID
4) Identify at least 2 treatment strategies when working with DID
