DESCRIPTION:February 3\, 2023 \nWORKSHOP: Working with Dissociative Identity Disorder Part 1 \nDID is very often misdiagnosed\, misunderstood\, ​and​ not taken seriously. ​Many of these clients ​have been diagnosed as bipolar\, borderline\, schizophreni​a​\, etc when in reality they have a dissociative disorder. ​This presentation will help you understand what DID is and how to assess for it in your clients. \n9am-4pm – CEU/Speaker Presentation \n*12-1pm Lunch (on your own) \n* = non CEU portion of course \n  \nLearning Objectives-  participants will be able to: \n1) Describe what is Dissociation \n2) Identify at least 2 symptoms of dissociation \n3) Identify at least 2 alter systems in DID \n4) Identify at least 2 treatment strategies when working with DID \n  \nLocation: Online \nZoom details\, along with the course evaluation\, will be emailed to you after you have registered and paid for this workshop. \nOnce the workshop is over\, you will need to email the course evaluation in order to receive your CEUs. \n  \nAdditional Information: \nAccommodations: Facilities and programs are accessible to persons with disabilities.
