DESCRIPTION:“Supporting Survivors of the Troubled Teen Industry (TTI) Through Trauma Therapy: Psychoeducation\, Clinical Considerations\, and Best Practices” \nPresented By: \nAimee Ford is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-1) with Pasadena Trauma Therapy who is EMDR and IFS Level 1 trained. As a TTI survivor\, Aimee is dedicated to helping others with similar experiences and provides psychoeducational training for clinicians treating TTI-related trauma. Aimee emphasizes the importance of understanding TTI’s historical context; including ritualized abuse\, indoctrination practices\, and cultic ideologies\, while offering guidance on best practices and effective therapeutic modalities when working with TTI survivors. Aimee is Supervised under Cristina  Mardirossian\, LMFT.  \nSaturday\, April 26\, 2025 \n9AM-12PM – CEU/Speaker Presentation \nCourse meets the qualifications for 3 hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs\, LCSWs\, LPCCs\, and/or LEPs. CEU completion certificates will be awarded after participants complete the course evaluation after speaker presentation. Describe at least two types of TTI programs \n2.) Discuss the BITE model and it’s importance of understanding TTI methodology \n3.)Identify at least 3 clinical considerations when working with TTI survivors \n4.) Identify at least two ritualized practices used to control adolescents in relation to the TTI \n5.)
